i just bought Block D oso level 5

i have a quick question - is IR equipped with the intercom system? like if got guest come visit u...when they reach the security guard house, can the guard house call us? Also will the CCTV there be showing who on 1 of our TV channels via the central TV antenna???

Block D Fifth floor..beside the showroom? Am at the 10th Floor.. As i know there is a Intercom..but if am not wrong the intercom is not working yet...
I haven't move in yet..now am looking for house renovation things..

Hi Everyone,
i oso from E block.. i face the same problem like Mauhorng.. the astrro signal have problem. all the channel can't view sometimes.. the astro technician said it's due to the signal in our building is not strong enough. dunno wat is the reason. should we inform the management about this? any other residents facing this problem?

I don't have problem with the TV signal, but not using Astro.

Got worker at the new entrance. Saw him sleep on the entrance.....

Got intercom, but not working yet. No need to be so troublesm. My relative just drive in last week. Event the gaurd stop your relative, just mention your unit number, still can walk in. Hope tighter security after the new entrance completed.

You can't see the CCTV with your TV.

I tried carwax on a few floor tiles. This didn't make the tiles more shining, but make it very slippy. Wonder why The One Residence floor tile so shining one...

My unit has ants problem, balck and seedy type and slow and small red type.

Having saying all this, really enjoy staying in IR. Looking forward the more shops at Palazzia, at least a 7-11 and chinese restaurant.

I have to use 3 kinds of cleaner to make it shines, our tiles very low quality, thats why. I bought two other brand which quite similar color it shines...

I have that too, so i bait the whole lots of ants red n black with sugar and raw chicken meat and pour the silver packet ant killer, it wipes entire colony.
Works well at my previous house, last at least 3 months. It didnt kill the ant on the spot, it infects the ants and the infected ants carry the food back to the colony and the whole colony mati

Chinese restaurant, i think difficult la.. so small shop rental $4.5k.

Hi am am the owner from the Block D...nice to meet you all here..

I have some query...the other i went to the Management side to ask something about the renovation...the lady at the office told me that i have to let the SSP people to do my grill door n the window..

The SSP people gave me the price high expensive..can i ask out side people to do for me?

How much they quoted and for how many doors/windows?
Mine they quoted RM 4600 for door, maid window, balcony door and bird cage/roof.
How much they charge for garbage disposal?

Fellow IR-ians,

Some updates on Block E lift, appearently the lift is only 'temperary fixed' as they are not able to identify the root course of the failure yet. Appearently there have been some sort circuit due to the earlier water leakage, and the lift will stop functioning from time to time. Besides, something about claiming insurance and it takes time.

Good luck to us all block E high levelers.

Wow.... then very dangerous to use the lifts? I think I use staircase for the time being.

Hopefully get the insurance claim and change to new type with faster speed with LCD screen.....

Finally something up for the gym. Time to build up our body shape.

To save some money on grill, seal the maid room and wet kitchen windows. Also, no need bird cage, normal one will do.

I know the silver packet ants killer. I used it before. I think it is only effective on red ant as black one never be attracted with it. Anyway, need to try it out later.

4.5K rental? what is the whole unit price? This rent rate is better than I-Avenue......

No news on next residence gathering?
