I think most of the condo did this now. If every level has garbage room, that will be very smelly. Also, the life will be smelly too when they carry out the garbage. From the floor plan, I don't see any garbage room.

yeah, we have to bring out sampah downstairs to throw, i was told now all new apartment/condo have to practice this already.

its good to have it this way, as Bryan said, no smelly lift and smelly garbage room.

the bad thing is, there might be arguement between you and your gf/wife on who is throwing the rubbish down stair. grrrr...

Haha... just do it whenever you go to work.

Anyway, I still don't where to throw. Any idea? If far away from car park, problem also.

I am practicing this in my current condo. No issue. All the people in the lift are from same neighborhood, and practice the same thing.

Throw out from windows does not mean the rubbish will be gone. It will be accumulated and make our condo look cheap like flat. Please don't do that. This is harmful for all of us.

Is it necessary? IR sky villa have 3 lifts. 1 is bomba life and another 2 should be normal lifts.

If you clear your waste daily, it won't be smelly. And if you carry smelly waste, it is better to wait for an empty lify.... :)

So, it is depend on us to keep our home clean and nice.

IR garbage room built near the entrance behind Palazzia. So, we need to carry the waste to that area daily? A bit far.

Also, that area should be used for landscaping, as it is located at the entrance and near lobby.

Anyway, it is already completed. :(

Garbage room

Postby Andrew » Thu Oct 22, 2009 7:26 pm

Today I saw a room just to the left of Block E, 3rd floor. (Just beside Block B. It faces the side road where the temple is located.) An Indonesian worker was coming out. He said it was being used to store their stuff like paint and cement. They keep it locked all the time.

I guess that room can be used to put in a large garbage can for Block E residents to throw their rubbish. But IR needs to get its cleaners to clear it regularly and also to keep it from stinking too much. I also guess there may be a similar room at the other side (beside Block C, facing USM).

May be a good option for those staying in blocks C, D and E. Blocks A and B residents should have no problem with the current location of the garbage room.

Still don't know the exact location of the tong sampah in P1 car park. If too near the lift, every time we come home or bring in the guest, we will be welcomed by the smell. Too far away from lift, people will complain long distance walk. Too near the car, the car owner will also make noise. Challenging work for management to find the idea spot.
